My Brother Feeds Zombies 6:

The key to freedom was Logistics.  Planning and moving of items and product.  The strip club was thinking small.  I wanted a small and fair piece of the cost for every mile to move product safely.  Typically a trucking company can get a few cents per mile for moving product.  A value added logistics provider can get a few cents more by providing tracking and to the minute planning of routes and product flow.  I was able to provide these standard services and more.  I could provide the security to get the product to the correct location on time and in perfect condition.  All the other logistics providers were out of business or working for me, eventually.  It took a little while but when the walls went up around the cities I saw the vision to make it happen.
A few trucks modified by my good friend to my specifications.  I had worked in the auto customization business for a few years and hit a dead end and moved on to doing tile work.  My earlier wonderings were paying off now.  I know the perfect people to modify large trucks.  The first problem was making sure the trucks had the power to move anything that became an obstacle.  I had a few Macks modified with larger intercoolers on the diesel turbo, better fuel management with Exhaust Gas Temperature monitoring and variable controls on the turbo boost.  Even propane injection and methanol injection systems to automatically boost power and cool the engines under extreme stress.  It would do no good to let the power rip and blow an engine.  That would get you killed, real quick.
