The Russians had a modified version of the AK-47 in a 12 gauge shotgun. Called a Saiga S12. I could get a bunch of them easily, but they needed a little modification to be Zombies approved, by me. Zombies make great security, if you can keep them in control. A good ex-soldier Zombie will naturally point a weapon and pull the trigger at anything that moves. That is really cool, unless you are the thing that is moving. I needed control. I had the triggers replaced with oversized electronic switches. From the outside, they looked like a slightly large trigger, made to easily grab by undead hands. This was true, but they had an electronic sear disconnect that let me arm the weapons with a kill switch. I could activate the weapons and when I released a button and all the weapons went live. Testing was incredible. 100 Zombies with drum magazines loaded with 00 buck. Thousands of small balls of lead, any one of which could kill a man at 100 yards away, flying at the speed of sound and heading toward anything moving with just the flick of my finger.
I was charging more than double of what people used to pay to move cargo, but it was worth it to them and I made 50 times the profit that the old Logistics companies could get on their best days. I knew the potential for profit and enemies before I started. Some people always choose the dark path and I was ready for them.
